Denied Entry

As most of you know i was scheduled to leave July first to go to Namibia, Africa on a one year trip to work with a Pastor and his family to help further his mission. I did indeed leave July first and landed in Namibia 3 days later, on July third. What we did not know was that regulations to get in the country changed . Because of the World Cup being in South Africa, I was denied entrance into Namibia on the fact that i, one, did not have a return ticket, ( because i had not chosen  my return home date), and, two, because my VISA paperwork was not finsihed.  We thought we would be allowed to finish  the paperwork there, since you may stay in the country for 3 months legally. We tryed everything we could to allow me to stay even for a short trip like 2 weeks; buying a  return ticket, but that would not phase the entry police. So, after 3 days of traveling , with  only a couple hours of sleep and no shower,  i got back on a plane to go home. And here i am now- again -safe and sound by  God's Grace in the USA, my home.

Now, many of you may be thinking different things, one being; "What, why did God do that?".   I will tell you my thought on the subject. While i was there waiting in line to buy a return ticket home, I thought and prayed God's will be done. I wanted to pray- but did not pray; "God please let me stay,  i'm exhausted and i can't go another three days through some of the biggest airports in the world, by myself."  Instead, I prayed , "Your will, God's WILL be done."   I believe that if God so chose, he could have turned that situation around  to allow me to stay, but He didn't.   And that was not an accident on God's part, it wasn't an accident on my part. If i was not supposed to go, God would not have brought in over $10,000.00 needed to go. He had a plan, He taught me many things on that trip; complete reliance on him for every direction, being just one. Now God's got something here for me to do, something i have not completed yet and he wants me to be a missionary in my own country for the time being, before i go back to Namibia.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone who ever prayed for me during this trip, PRAYER WORKS! Thank You!
Leah
